The chef’s mission is to share the gastronomy of Japan, Yokohama and the restaurant itself, and he is passionate about sourcing the best quality ingredients from around the world. Styled after a Yokohama warehouse, the elegant interior of L’ATELIER 1959 reflects its status as one of the city’s finest restaurants, while remaining intimate and warm. The restaurant is welcoming and well suited for special occasions and business dealings, as well as for those looking to dip their toes into the pool of fine wining and dining for the first time.
Currently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we only accept the customers who made reservations and we will serve our special course menus. Please book 3 days in advance as we would like to promise the best hygiene standard.
